A little about me

I'm a writer, editor and sometimes designer living in in the Greater Boston area of Massachusetts. Currently, I work for Harvard University's Program on Education Policy and Governance at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, Mass., as their Web, Data and Research Manager. In my own time, I write and create graphics.

Writing: I am currently a columnist at The Standard-Times in New Bedford, Mass., and my work appears every Sunday in the sports section. I serve as editor and webmaster at Static and Feedback, an online music magazine. I run a baseball blog, Saves and Shutouts, and in 2010-11, I covered the Boston Bruins for RantSports.com.

Editing: From 2009 to 2012, I worked at SouthCoastToday.com as a content producer, web reporter and videographer. I was previously the Content Manager for Dynamic Page Solutions, an SEO company in Mesa, Ariz., and an Associate Editor with Gannett Pacific Publications in Phoenix, Ariz. I've also worked on several Web sites, serving as editor, writer and content manager variously.

Design: I currently create graphics on request and to keep myself sharp, and those can be found in the Design section. In a previous life, I was a night editor and page designer at The Standard-Times. I've also designed a few Web sites. And I doodle.

I'm an avid music fan, and when I'm not spinning an LP, I'm noodling on the guitar, bass or harmonica, doing my best to impersonate The Who.
